Our Story
In 2013, two professionals from different backgrounds crossed paths while working at the Brazilian Ministry of Justice in partnership with the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), collaborating on a project highlighting human rights and the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet as a way to ensure principles, guarantees, rights and duties for the use of the Internet in Brazil.
This partnership began with a shared vision of ethics, creativity, and innovation.
Alex
A designer with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Brasilia, Brazil, Alex brings a deep understanding of design, honed through over 10+ years of experience working on presidential campaigns and complex projects for businesses and political leaders. His extensive experience has allowed him to navigate the intricate demands of high-profile clients, consistently delivering innovative and impactful design solutions. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creative expression, Alex has developed a reputation for excellence in political and corporate design, making him a versatile in the industry.
Laryssa
A passionate advocate for the intersection of law and technology, Laryssa brings a unique blend of expertise to every project. With an LLB, an MBA in Data Science, certificates in Cloud Computing from UBC and Privacy Information from York University, she thrives on finding innovative solutions to complex privacy and security challenges. As a co-founder of Studio Ascend, the creative arm of Ascend Privacy Data Solutions, Laryssa is committed to helping businesses navigate compliance while unleashing the full potential of their brand’s creativity.
